Get Your V.A.T. Receipt when in Ghana * April 14, 2004
Your VAT Receipt (Value Added Tax) ensures that the government receives the taxes collected, while an "Official Receipt" from a business does not. Be sure to always insist on having your government VAT Receipt, whether for lodging or meals. At Four Villages Inn, this is our own small effort to support national development.
The Ghana government's slogan "... a few drops make a mighty nation" makes a lot of sense.

Best guesthouse of the year it deserves to win.
Lovingly decorated to reflect Ghanaian pride,

FOUR VILLAGES INN gave the Allens the royal treatment. They were picked up at their hotel in Accra and driven in airconditioned comfort back to Kumasi. And for the next three days they saw the sights of Kumasi and surroundings. Then they were driven to Cape Coast where they are pictured being dropped off at the Elimina Beach Hotel near Cape Coast. AND ALL THIS WITHOUT A HITCH!
