|
| It's
hot off the press - the introduction is dated June, 2005 - and FOUR VILLAGES
INN has this wonderful book for you to read when you sit out on our expansive
verandah overlooking a spectacular garden. Or perhaps you'd just like to
browse through the book looking at the fascinating pictures taken by Geldof
on his travels in Africa during the last 30 years. |
 |
| The topic
of aid to Africa is a hot topic given the LIVE 8 concerts held around the
world and the meeting of the G8 leaders in Scotland. Should you choose

In the
authorative Bradt Guide to Ghana - indispensible if you are visiting Ghana
for the first time - author Philip Briggs remarks on F.V.I.'s "great selection
of free videos to choose from". Well that great selection has become even
greater. A big thank you goes out to the Wiebes of Rivers, Manitoba and
Bob Burch in Montreal, Quebec, for their generous contributions.
Here
is a New

on DVD. You will also find this link on our "Facilities" page, so you can

* March 29, 2005
|
| That's
what Mr. Grant Salter, Hotel Management Senior Consultant, woking for Grant
Thornton International, the fifth largest audit firm in the world, wrote
in the guest book after a three night stay at FOUR VILLAGES INN.
While
in Kumasi, Mr. Salter conducted a feasibility study for a Lybian/Arab Bank
consortium looking into the possibility of purchasing Kumasi's largest
hotel property, the City Hotel, a former state owned and run 169 room estabilishment
that closed decades ago.
The only

Farewell to Some Valued Guests *
December 18, 2004
|
At the
end of February, the Scotts said a sad farewell to the Lauterbach family
from Denmark. Karen Lauterbach was in Ghana conducting research on Ghanaian
churches with a Danish connection. She was accompanied by her husband Thomas
and one and a half year old Johanis.
Here's
what they wrote in our guest book: "Fantastic rooms, delicious breakfast,
great hospitability, and a nice relaxing atmosphere-even after almost five
weeks. Thanks for making our family feel at home during our stay. See you." |
